SNDRSNDR

WEBSITES, FORGED FROM SCRATCH.

forge('website', { for: 'your company' })

I design and code websites for Icelandic companies that have outgrown their web presence, or never got the website they deserve.

The name Sindri comes from the Edda: the dwarf smith who forged Mjölnir. SNDR is simply Sindri without the vowels.

The people who keep Iceland running deserve a web presence as strong as what they have built. The bakery baking since 1880. The restaurant everyone recommends. The company that never misses. But their website tells a different story, an old story, or no story at all. That gap costs more than revenue.

Three steps

story()1/3

I learn your story

Real content from day one. I read everything there is about your company, verify every fact and get the Icelandic right. Never lorem ipsum.

design()2/3

I shape the presence

Every company gets its own design with its own character. You review a living prototype in your browser, not screenshots in a slide deck.

launch()3/3

I send it into the world

A fast website, set up properly for Google, on secure hosting. And I do not disappear after launch.

What you want to know before we start

What does a website cost?

A website costs anywhere from 149.000 kr up to 299.000 kr depending on the size of the project. Monthly plans with hosting, maintenance and content updates start at 9.900 kr per month. You always get a fixed price before work begins.

Who does the work?

I do, personally. No chain of middlemen, no subcontractors. You always talk directly to the person designing and building your site.

How long does it take?

It all depends on the size of the project and current workload, but you can expect a finished website in three to six weeks.

What do I need to provide?

Whatever you have: photos, text, a logo and access to your domain. I handle everything else, and I write and review all copy unless we agree otherwise.

What happens after launch?

You can choose a monthly plan where I host the site, keep backups, watch security and make changes whenever you need. Two of my three clients chose that path.

Will my site rank better on Google?

Google visibility is part of every single site I build, not an add on. Your new site will be measurably better set up for search engines than the old one.

Can I see an idea before deciding?

Yes. I often build a living prototype first, free of charge and with no obligation. You open it on your phone and then decide.

whoami

Sindri Már

I am 24, born and raised in Iceland, and I have been tinkering with websites since I was seventeen. It got serious when I started helping out in the family business and saw how much a good website changes for a small company.

Today I design and build complete websites for Icelandic companies: design, copy, code, hosting and Google visibility. I use the newest tools to work at a pace a small studio otherwise could not match, but every single piece of work passes through my hands and my eyes.

Never a template

Every company gets its own design. If two sites look alike, I have failed one of them.

Honesty above all

No invented numbers, no empty claims. A prototype is labelled a prototype.

Icelandic, one hundred percent right

Every sentence reviewed and verified. Your site should never sound like machine translation.

Outcomes first

A beautiful site that converts nobody is just a picture. The goal is always more customers for you.
